The Missing Son – A Faroe Island SagaI have just returned from several days at the Asilomar Conference Center, and I want to show you some beautiful scenery from the California coast. About 200-300 women from our church attended a weekend retreat at Asilomar. The facilities are right on the edge of the Monterey Bay.
I am delighted that my last box finally arrived from the Faroe Islands, just about 5 months after I shipped it. It had most of my sweaters, some of my very favorite books, and a few other items that I had been looking for (and finally found).

Beautiful photos of a lovely part of the country. And the big difference between these and your Faroe shots is that here we see the occasional tree! I’m hoping you do have further travel plans to the islands, though, as I can’t tell you how much I miss those remarkable posts as the weather changed and the the year deepened. All best, Paul.
