I arrived in the Faroe Islands yesterday, for a two month visit. As our plane approached the Faroes, the sky was clear over the northern islands. Except for an airplane wing in the way, I had a beautiful view. Then approaching Tórshavn, we had the more typical fog, with some mountain peaks poking through.
On the plane from Copenhagen to the Faroes were 4 people that I knew, and a couple more were waiting at the gate. This doesn’t happen in California, though it is quite common when flying to the Faroes.
